DIY: Make up box

Last night I was so bored and had no idea what to do... I didn't want to spend any more time on my computer and I didn't want to read anything (currently I'm reading the third book from trilogy of EL James: 50 shades of freedom and I really like it, but that's another topic...). So, I was looking at my make up bag and I got an idea that I should make myself a unique make up box, so my make up would be organized all the time.
And that's how I began. :)

For your DIY make up box you need:
* a shoe box (or any kind of a box really)
* scissors
* glue
* markers
* photos of make up products or sketches

First you just find some sketches of make up products and you draw them on a paper and then cut them out. Then you find some photos of make up products and you cut them out. You can play with shapes. Then you just grab your box and glue and let your imagination fly! :)

That's how my make up box turned out:

My box is maybe a bit too small for all of my make up, but still it's better than a make up bag. I really like how it turned out! <3

I wish you a lot of joy creating your own box if you decide to create it.

J.

Party outfit

It's Saturday. I should be out partying and having fun, but that's what I did yesterday and today I'm in mood for hanging out with my bed, listening to a song from One Republic (Au Revoir) and watching pictures from yesterday. First I wanted to do a post about Essence long lasting lipsticks that I own, but now I'm not in the mood for writing a review. Despite the fact that I'm totally lazy at the moment I wanted to write something, so that's why I have decided to write a post about my outfit that I wore yesterday on a party.

P.S: Post about my lipsticks will be on my blog soon. Once a lipstick addict, always a lipstick addict.

If you read my blog regular you know that I'm a fan of black & white outfits. Well, if you're here for the first time you know that now.
This necklace that I'm wearing is similar as Chanel one. I got it a few days ago and I wanted to wear it and that's how I ended up in black & white outfit again yesterday.
I wore black leather pants and full heels with a white top and my black coat. You can't see my coat on these pictures, but you can see it in this post: Perfection. ;)

*wearing: shoes: Deichmann, pants: H&M, tee: New Yorker, necklace: eBay

Here you can see better my gorgeous necklace.
Yesterday my hair were curly and my make up was dark brown with pink lips.
I just wanted to keep it all classy.

Well, that's it about my outfit and look.
Sleep tight my loves.

Pink coat

It's been a while since I posted an outfit post. I didn't have a proper phone, so taking pictures was a bit hard. A few days ago I have bought a new one (finally, yaaay!) and now I'm back with my outfit posts. These pictures were taken in the dark. :)

DRAMA QUEEN, NO MORE DRAMA! :)

Today I felt like I should wear something pink to cheer up, so I did wear my pink coat. I have it in my closet since last year, but until now I wore it only 3 times. I don't know why, because I really like it.
I love cats, and this one on my tee is adorable. His tongue is light pink and that's why I decided to wear this tee with my pink coat.
It's also time for boots! These that I'm wearing are my last years and my favorite. I still adore them.

wearing: tee: Stradivarius, pants: H&M, watch&coat: ebay, boots: Allegria (Slovenian store), bag: Two way

Wish you a good night.

Review: Scented REVLON nail polish

For a long time I wanted a REVLON scented nail polish, but I just couldn't find it... A few days ago I went to Muller and there it was. Of course I had to buy it. There weren't a lot of different colors of their scented nail polish, so I have bought the pink one, even though I have a lot of pink shaded nail polishes.

I love the bottle of this nail polish. It's so cute and chic. I also love the color of the nail polish on my nails and I love the scent. It smells like GINGER MELON and the scent stays on my nails for about 2 days.
That was what I love about it...
But there are also two things that I don't like...
I don't like its brush and its lasting.
This nail polish has a very thick brush which makes application a bit difficult and because of that the application of it is not very smooth. For a full coverage you need 2-3 layers of nail polish.
Like I said I also don't like it's durability. It stays on my nails without chipping for 2 days. I think that this is way too short period for a nail polish of this brand.

This nail polish is not very big, it has 11,7 ml and it costs 7,99 €.

My rating: 8/10

Do you own any Revlon scented nail polishes?

J.

Pinkish make up look with a review

I needed a new blusher (well, maybe I didn't really need it, but I wanted a new one) and a few days ago I have bought one. I love pink blushers, because they make so cute cheeks. This blusher that I have bought is from Essence from their limited collection  Hello autumn (02 Keep calm & go for a walk). This blush is not an ordinary blush. On the package it says: the color adapting powder blush adjusts to the pH value of skin to create a customized, natural pink tone. It stains the skin.
I love the tone of the blush on my skin. It's very pigmented. I really don't regret buying it.
The package is plastic and square with silver writing. It's easy to use.
You get 10 g of a product for around 3 €.

This brush is not from realTechniques, but it's completely the same. It has amazing and very soft bristles. I have ordered it from eBay for less than 2 €. It was a smart buy!

Because of the pink blush I have decided to add also some pink color on my lips. I have used Essence long lasting lipstick with name 10 Cotton Candy. I love the color of this lipstick and it moisturizes my lips fine. It's not very long lasting, but it doesn't bother me, because I always correct my lipstick every 5 minutes, hihi.

On my nails you can see my new pink nail polish from Revlon. A review about it will be soon on my blog. :)

J.

Review: Catrice - MADE TO STAY Smoothing Lip Polish

A while ago I have bought this MADE TO STAY Smoothing Lip Polish from CATRICE cosmetics in red color. I prefer wearing pink shades on my lips, but this one was only for 2 €, (because this shade I'm writing about is no longer for sale (040 Let's Red Loud!)) so I just had to buy it despite the fact that red is not really my thing. Although this shade is no longer for sale there are other shades that still are and that's why I decided to write a review.

On the packing of this lip polish is written: Discover the triple advantage: The color of a lipstick, the longevity of a stain and the shiny finish of a lipgloss!

First I have to say that I love this shade on my lips and that this lip polish is awesome! It's everything that is written on the packing. It applies really nice and evenly and the color is really intense. You don't see any dry patches and it looks like a lip gloss at first. I thought that I won't like it because I'm not a lip gloss fan because of the stickiness, but it suprised me positively, because it's sticky and lip glossy only from the start and after a while when it dries not anymore.

I love this lip polish, because when I eat or drink the stain of the color stays on my lips and it doesn't go away without rubbing it off. I like to apply new layers of lipstick almost every hour, so that's not the most important thing about lipsticks or lip glosses for me, but I like the fact that my lips are colored all the time. It says that it stays on lips for 8 hours and I think that stain would definitely stay on for that long.

I like the application of the lip polish. It's very easy because of the sponge.
I got mine lip polish for only 2 €, but originally I think is costs around 5 €. :)

My rating: 10/10

P.S.: This one today is my 100 post since I started blogging. Happy me! :)

J.

Flowers on my sunnies

Today I had a better day than I expected. The sun was shining outside, I spent my day with my family and we went to the cemetery to pay tribute to our relatives that has passed away and I even got a lollipop. What more could I wish? :)

I was wearing a dark outfit (not that this is something new for me). I wore my new perfect coat (I dedicated a post to it a few days ago: Perfection), my gorgeous ankle boots with gold details, envelope clutch, mint sweater and two statement pieces: my necklace with flowers and my big sunnies with flowers (Valentino style).

*wearing: coat & jeans: H&M, necklace: Accessories, shoes: InFashion (Slovenian store), clutch: ebay, sunnies: Extra (Slovenian store)

Hope you had a wonderful day.
